This time of year tends to see a multitude of outdoor sporting events and competitions going on – marathons, football, tennis. Most importantly however, it’s also a great time of year for people to be getting out and about at these events raising money for a nominated charity.
The All Nations Triathlon in Windsor next month is a superb event at an even more impressive venue, Dorney Lake. This Olympic venue will see our very own Director of Wave, Dave, competing in his first ever Triathlon. Dave was persuaded to do this by one of our favourite media contacts, Donal, from the huge job board Monster who is also taking part with him.
Dave & Donal will be taking part in The All Nations Triathlon, battling against each other in aid of their chosen charity’s
I should say against him really, because they will be adding a fun competitive edge to the Triathlon as they battle against each other with the loser contributing a hefty donation towards the charity of their choice.
KidsOut is a charity close to Dave’s heart. They are an amazing and worthy company who work to give thousands of disadvantaged children the presents and experiences we probably all take for granted – toys, theme park days out and trips to the theatre. Through the work they do, they aim to ensure that these children experience happiness and positive memories, helping them to find hope, confidence and a better future.
Dave & Donal will take on a 400m swim, 20k bike ride and a 5k run
There are expected to be about 500 competitors at the event, so help us support both Dave and Donal in their battle as they take on the 400m swim, 20k bike ride and 5k run.
