Wave had the task of creating a highly targeted campaign aimed at this niche audience, and raise awareness of Cairn’s dynamic culture. We wanted to catch the attention of our audience, and position the Cairn advert away from the expected ‘hard-hats-and-oil-rigs’ theme. Instead, we wanted to reflect the characteristics of the company and its employees; breaking through the noise of competitor recruitment marketing activity. The ‘Rock Legends’ print advert showcased the employer brand’s fun and unconventional personality, and offered a realistic insight into the culture of the business.
